You must allow pop-ups from this site if you want to see a visual reminder that Private Messages await you from other members of the Chalk Loft. This is an action you will only need to take once. After that, every time you open this site a pop-up will appear on your screen alerting you IF a PM is waiting.

Of course, you must have already activated the option "Allow members to send me private messages" on your Profile>Preferences page.

Additionally, if you activate the option "Notify by mail when a new message has arrived in your in-box" you will always receive an email notification of PMs.
