Gunpowder is composed of three parts: charcoal, sulphur and potassium nitrate. When these components are sitting separate the results are ho-hum. But if you combine them in the correct ratios and then add fire, the results are explosive.

This is a good metaphor for chalk art, which is also composed of three parts: live drawing, a musical soundtrack (perhaps with story/narration) and lighting effects (colored, black light or projector). Then add the fire of the Holy Spirit and...BOOM! No more boring.

The focus of this area is how you use the component of music with your drawings. How do you choose it, find it and mix it? How about the use of narration or sound effects? What is your music playback device of choice and why?

Go on, have a blast.

Kerry
